I think that the best mindset to have when starting a blog
is to think that no one and everyone is going to read what you write. Similar
to how the best way to live life is to assume that today is your last and that
you will live forever. Such an attitude makes everything seem both drastically
important and completely meaningless at the same time. I can’t say that I've achieved that enigmatic way of thinking, but writing is one way that I try to
get there.
Enough introspective rambling, it’s time to state my
diabolical plot for this blog. My plan is simply this: to assault the internet
with the few intelligible drops of thought that trickle out of my brain, drops
that would be lost forever had they not been saved by the rapid tapping of
fingertips on a keyboard. Now you may be wondering, can’t I just start a
journal or something and keep this brain dribble to myself? And the answer is
yes. Yes, I could. However, I’d rather use it to decorate the internet because
that is far more satisfying.
On an unrelated note, I am on extremely good terms with the
grammar police, and I hope to have a syntactical badge of my own someday.
Therefore, if there are ever any grammar errors or spelling mishaps within this
blog, please just assume that they are deliberate and are intended for some
sort of creative effect. That way, no one gets hurt.
